Going to India to work voluntarily with Matra Sansthan was probably one of the most important decisions. Of course I informed myself a little bit about the country, its culture and traditions before I got there, however I couldn’t really imagine what was to be expected.
People welcomed me in a kindly way. Working with the children and the teachers of Bari School and Hari Om was a touching experience. Even we couldn’t understand each other proper I got close to the students and the educators. The children were enthusiastic and keen on learning new things. It was such a pleasure to see them smiling and laughing only just because I praised them. So everybody worked hard to receive a high praise. I enjoyed my stay in Udaipur very much.
Nearly four months have passed since I was in India; nevertheless I am still in strong memories with all the kids I got to know. Every single child is worth it to obtain the chance of a better life. Therefore Matra Sansthan is a grate basis.
